TOPIC: HOW TO RECEIVE GRACE

TEXT: John 1:17, 1Peter 5:10

WHAT IS GRACE?

✅Grace is a free gift of God.

✅Grace is an undeserved favour from  God.

✅Grace is God qualifies a man to a position he is not merited for by His unending love 💕.

✅The Grace of God is what qualifies a man to receive the goodness of God he is not qualified for.

✅The absence of Grace is the availability of shame and disgrace.

WHY AND WHAT GRACE DOES?

❤️If there's a need for Great Grace, it is because there's a great mountain. Zechariah 4:7, Psalms 45:2.

❤️Grace is what terminates shame, labour and struggle. 

❤️We need the Grace of God to move forward.

❤️ Without Grace, no help if you like, be connected to ten million people, if there's no God's Grace upon you; you cannot be favoured.

❤️Grace is the presence of God's unending love 💕 and favour upon a man.

❤️Grace is the spirit of acceptability, it causes men or places they rejected you to begin to accept you. So go for Grace.

❤️We need Grace to start, continue and end well. 

For there are people that have the Grace to start something but don't have the Grace to continue. 

Some have the Grace to start, and continue but lack the Grace to end well. 

They will start a thing, but the thing will die in their hands. 

They take in, but experience miscarriages, or the baby survives but kills the mother and vice versa.

They will start a business, but the business will die in their hands. 

They will be on fire 🔥 for God, but soon you hear words like "WHEN I USE TO", what happened now? They lack the Grace to keep burning ❤️‍🔥.

❤️Grace makes you dive in and enter into other people's rest and begin to enjoy it. Hebrews 4:4.

HOW DO WE RECEIVE GOD'S GRACE?

1. By believing the Word of His Grace. Acts 20:32

The Word of God makes a man to have an integrity. You cannot have integrity until such a man learns to value his word. Such is a man who values the Word of God.

The Word of God is full of Grace, Truth and Power.

2. By hearing the Word of His Grace. Romans 10:17, James 1:24-25, Ephesians 4:29, Isaiah 3:9-10, Matthew 7:24-25.

What we hear is what we become.

So keep hearing the Word, but be mindful, for what disqualifies God's Grace in the life of a man is what he hears and evil communication.

Sin and iniquities. Romans 6:1-10

3. By believing in His Words, His Son and God.  Mark 16:16-20; Philippians 2:8-11, Mark 16:17-20.

You are not better than what you believe. You are no different.

You are what you believe. 

4. By believing that Jesus died for our sins. Romans 6:1-10.

5. By repenting of your sins and be baptized. Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9-10.

HOW CAN YOU RELEASE (INCREASE) GOD'S GRACE UPON YOUR LIFE?

1. Through rejoicing. Isaiah 35:2-10, Joel 1:10-12. 

Create an atmosphere of Joy and be joyful. Philippians 4:4-7

Don't be unhappy; for any time you are unhappy and moody, you are killing something inside.

Even when things are not working, be joyful.

2. Through obedience and humility. 

You need to be humble, if God's Grace must come upon a man; for God is the enemy of a proud man. Isaiah 1:19, James 4:6.

3. Through giving. 2 Corinthians 9:6-10; 8:4; Isaiah 55:9-11, Acts 20:35.

God's Grace is what a man needs to keep soaring higher and get distinguished in the midst of the best. Go for Grace.
